New patients

Your first visit, made easy.

New patients are always welcome — no referral needed. Here's exactly what to expect, so nothing about your first visit feels like a surprise.

What to expect

A relaxed first visit, in four simple steps.

01

A warm welcome

We start by getting to know you — your concerns, your history, and any past dental work. No rush; this is your time to tell us what's on your mind.

02

A thorough check-up

We examine your teeth, gums, and bite carefully, and take X-rays only if they'll genuinely help us see what's happening below the surface.

03

A cleaning, if it's due

Where a cleaning is appropriate, we'll often do it the same day — so you leave with a fresher, healthier start.

04

A clear plan

You'll leave understanding exactly where things stand, and — if anything needs attention — your options and rough costs, with no pressure to decide on the spot.

What to bring

A short checklist.

None of these are essential — come as you are — but they help us give you the best first visit.

  • A valid ID
  • Any past dental records or X-rays, if you have them
  • A list of medications or medical conditions we should know about
  • For children: a favourite toy or comfort item to help them feel at ease
  • Any questions you've been meaning to ask — we're happy to talk them through

Nervous, or bringing a child?

Gentle care is the whole point.

If the dentist makes you anxious, you're far from alone — and it's exactly why we work the way we do. We move at your pace, explain everything before we do it, and never make you feel rushed or judged.

For children, first impressions last a lifetime. Dr. Mae Michelle keeps early visits short, gentle, and unhurried, so your child learns that the dentist is nothing to fear — the foundation for a lifetime of easy dental care.

Ready when you are.
